Bobby Albrecht (He/His)
Hello!
My Approach
Life can be overwhelming, and therapy isn’t always easy. Sharing the little struggles of daily life — or the big traumas and challenges — with a stranger can feel daunting. That’s why it’s so important to find a Denver counselor who is the right fit for you. Therapy is about giving you the support you need to reach your goals, whether that means surviving each day, processing past trauma, navigating difficult relationships, or exploring your own personal growth. I am here to walk alongside you through it all.
I don’t claim to be a perfect therapist, and we may not be a perfect fit. What I do promise is to create a safe, honest, and judgment-free space where you can truly be yourself. No charades, no pretense, just an open conversation. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” anyone — it’s about helping you release the burdens you carry, and supporting you as you step into who you are and who you want to become.
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, tailoring techniques to each individual. My practice incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and TF-CBT to help clients process trauma, develop coping skills, and grow emotionally and spiritually. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy — each session is designed to meet you where you are.
Education & Experience
I have been in the counseling field since 2014, when I graduated from Denver Seminary. I am a trauma-informed therapist in Denver who specializes in helping adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and relational challenges. I also have a deep passion for integrating faith-based or spiritual perspectives when desired, providing a Christian counseling approach for those who invite it.
My Commitment to You
My hope is that you find the right counselor to walk alongside you through whatever season of life you’re in. You don’t have to shoulder your pain alone. If you think I could be a good fit, or if you have questions about counseling or neurofeedback in Denver, please reach out — I would be honored to support you on your journey.
